SupplHyInno Rhineland
the Hydrogen Clusters4Future
SupplHyInno Rhineland
the Hydrogen Clusters4Future
HIGHLIGHTS
Hydrogen as an energy carrier offers the possibility of establishing a local and global CO2-neutral energy economy. SupplHyInno Rhineland, the Hydrogen Clusters4Future initiative, bundles already existing expertise in the field of hydrogen technologies in and around Aachen with actors from industry, science and society. All while considering the entire hydrogen life cycle – from production to storage and distribution to use. Special focus is given to the supplier industry for hydrogen technologies and to decentral ecosystems.

OUR GOALS
The goal of SupplHyInno Rhineland is to network regional, national and international players from industry, science and society in the joint project and to use the combined competencies to transfer hydrogen technologies from research and development to real world application.
UNIQUE POSITION
Relational focus on the supplier industry for hydrogen technologies.
Topical focus on the development of innovative solutions for the decentralized production, use and local distribution of hydrogen.
Regional focus on the Rhineland, including the former Rhenish lignite mining area, as a region of active energy transformation.

VISION & MISSION
Our vision is sustainable, decentralised hydrogen ecosystems that promote regional value creation and reduce dependence on central infrastructures. Here, the supplier industry acts as a driver of innovation by developing flexible, locally customised technologies.
Our mission: We develop sustainable innovations with a particular focus on the supply industry in the Rhineland. The technological focus is on the decentralised production, local distribution and decentralised use of hydrogen.
